Bushead (/bushead / [Translation Unavailable]) is a subtropical Town located in the Quiegsan Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Bushead is derived from the Sylvin language, as Bushead was founded by Tshêthèdo Zesêyeg̈m Fyêmê Cleland, who was culturaly Sylvin.

Climate

Bushead has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). Bushead receives an average of 207 cm/y (81 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Bushead covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 5802 m (19035 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Bushead was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1170, by Tshêthèdo Zesêyeg̈m Fyêmê Cleland. The establishment of Bushead suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Bushead which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Bushead was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Bushead is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Bushead is buildings are arranged arround a network of restrictive packed earth streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Bushead 's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Bushead 's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Bushead has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Bushead ’s streets.

Bushead possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Bushead has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Bushead has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Bushead 's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Bushead was attacked by a slaver gang capable of fielding large forces. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Bushead lost 240 people, 266 livestock, and 79 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 223, when members of Bushead 's militia enacted an operation to delay the operations of the enemy. The operation was complicated by a key segment of the operation that deepened entirely on a stealth mission going perfectly. The conflict ended with the defense of the prison against a siege, which ended in a stalemate for Bushead 's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Bushead 's bards, historians, and legend keepers.

History
